Getting married in Tuscany
Getting married in Tuscany with a boho style
If you are envisioning your Italian wedding surrounded by rolling hills, medieval hilltop villages and endless vineyards, than getting married in Tuscany it’s something you should definitely consider. Not by chance, Tuscany is one of the most popular Italy’s regions for weddings. Whatever you are dreaming about, we have it in Tuscany (boho farmhouses, wedding Medici villas , exclusive luxury properties, etc..).
For Rachel and Matt, a lovely couple from the UK, getting married in Tuscany was a dream coming true. When I met them for the first time, I immediately understand that I was about to work with a very special couple.
As first step we had to find the perfect wedding venue. Italian Wedding Affairs boast of a wide trusted selection of wedding venues, and our aim is to guide you through all the alternatives suitable for your day. It was easy to help Rachel and Matt to find the perfect spot for their destination wedding in Tuscany.
Getting married in tuscany : a Boho Wedding Ceremony
Rachel choose a loose and unstructured bouquet of mixed flowers, greenery and pampas grass all wrapped with a long hanging ivory and sand ribbon.
The ceremony was decorated with many pampas grass and mixed greenery. In particular, the aisle was lined by loose decorations of olive brunches, eucalyptus and pampas grass. The wedding arch , made of two higher decorations with peach blush and ivory fresh roses at the bottom, was the perfect frame for the most “YES, I DO” moment.
Getting married in Tuscany: Wedding Reception & Party
After a touching ceremony under the tuscan sun, it was the moment of a delicious Italian aperitif in the garden. For this area, we selected rattan chairs and tables and provided to the guests a comfy and chilling atmosphere. Once the aperitif was over, all the guests have been guided to the garden of the dinner. To help the guests finding their seats, we styled a very original seating chart made out of wine jug and decorated with hand made calligraphy. A stylish way to find a seat!
The tableware was decorated with a total white set up, while the centerpieces had a soft color palette of green, peach, white and a touch of pampas’ gold. On each table we placed two gold metal lanterns of different sizes, high gold candlesticks and votives to create a soft and romantic atmosphere. As final touch for the alfresco dinner, a thousand of string lights overlooked the whole dinner setting.
Getting married in Tuscany: Party all night long
For the after dinner party Bride and Groom moved to a specific area. Here we organized the wedding cake cut & dances. Starting with wedding cake moment
It’s a known fact that the cut of the cake is a special moment in Italian weddings. For this reason, we think that it needs particular attention. As a result, we styled a romantic setting with lights wrapping the trees and pampas grass framing the cake the table. The song “Volare” playing in background: so Italian!
Right after the cake cut, the happy couple moved to the dance floor and performed their romantic first dance. To make this moment even more emotionally engaging, all the guests surrounded the couple with sparkles and through gold confetti.
It was great to help Rach and Matt planning their wedding in Tuscany. All the italian wedding affair’s team wish them a happy and long life together!
